Statement from the Environment Agency: The Fluorinated Gases and Ozone Depleting Substance Regulations state, maintenance requiring the joining of 2 or more pieces of equipment or circuits should only be undertaken by a qualified engineers and if containing HFC gas, from an F-gas Certified Company. After 31st December 2014, the use of HCFC gas will no longer be legal if required to top up / replenish your equipment, this includes recovered gas.” |
